  • It was a pleasure having Kenyana Bates as a student in the Consulting Practicum course I taught. From the outset, Kenyana distinguished herself with a high level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of client-centered work. Kenyana consistently demonstrated refined soft skills, particularly in her ability to interpret and align with client deliverables. She approached each project with clarity and purpose, ensuring that her work not only met expectations but often anticipated client needs before they were explicitly stated. This proactive mindset made her a standout contributor in every client interaction. Her presentation skills were equally impressive — clear, confident, and well-structured. Whether presenting interim findings or final recommendations, Kenyana communicated complex ideas with ease and poise, always tailoring her message to the audience. In team settings, Kenyana was a collaborative force. She balanced leadership and support roles seamlessly, fostering a positive and productive environment. Her ability to listen actively, offer thoughtful input, and keep the team aligned with project goals was instrumental in the success of her group’s engagements. Kenyana Bates is a rising professional with the insight, adaptability, and interpersonal skills that are essential in the consulting field. I have no doubt she will continue to excel in any client-facing or strategic role she pursues.
